I've just purchased a brand new log book as my previous one is falling to pieces, It's beginning to look like a mess.

I recieved my new logbook today and it's much bigger and better looking than my previous one, however I noticed it's missing a section for counting Day/Night TO & LDGs. Is this a huge issue? Do the CAA require to see your TO & LDGs before issuing out licenses?

I have a logbook software that I keep a note of all flights as backup, including TO & LDGS but I want to know if I should send this brand new logbook back or not?

Sorry for the random question!

Cheers!

Makes no odds. You could write your hours on the back of a fag packet if you like. The CAA only require a record is kept. You decide which format you use.

Just print it out and sign it, that is sufficient for CAA licensing/rating issues. :ok:
