Just doing the washing-up this evening and yes, unmistakeable! The distinctive crackling roar of afterburner, and, out of the window, a sight to warm the cockles - a Tornado (couldn't identify the type) giving it both barrels over the centre of Edinburgh. Thanks chaps - an awesome sight!

Or maybe it was a flypast for someone. I wonder if Mr Sea Trout approved it.
Not something you see every evening over central Edinburgh - had the whole street rushing to their windows in a communal "WTF?" moment. Glorious.
