Hi everyone

Basically I am looking for some advice from you guys, I am looking to gain the PPL licence, Multi engine and Instrument ratings and hour build, say about 75 hours in the shortest possible time due to work constraints and I am looking for some advise on how to achieve this.
Currently I am attending PPL groundschool and hope by completing this, this will reduce my amount of time abroad completing the flight training. I have researched a number of schools in the US, and narrowed it down to a small number. I have read some praising reviews on this board for OBA in Florida and I am inclined to lean towards them.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Regards

Gavin.

Naples air centre also have a good reputation but a few things to bear in mind:

1. Ensure that the place is JAA compliant

2. Expect good weather, European weather is another thing that you will have to get used to.

3. US radio procedures are RUBBISH; ie they say things like 'fuel emergency' rather than PAN

4. You will only get European experience here, not in the US.

I am biased, I have never been (even on holiday) to the US; I got most of my experience from the RAF, do take care Gavin! db16
