4 military jets over N London

What was the occasion (it is my birthday today but I didn't expect a flypast!) a couple of hours ago 4 mil jets flew over castle Candoo in Hendon fairly low and in formation, no good at this spotting game so could not identify them.

I also did see 4 military jets (look like Tornado's) fly over Royston, north Herts around 2.30pm.

Traveling north.
Maybe they got lost and flew by VFR, :O

They could be the same ones.

The four jets were Tornado`s and were doing a fly-past i believe at RAF Hendon to mark the start of the 90th birthday celibrations of the RAF.
