Heard there was a major accident with Air Bagan. Does anyone know how it happened? Saw the picture and looked very messy... :eek:

... is this the ATR 72 that overshot the runway? if this is it think it happened last February...:rolleyes:

2 weeks ago is correct. Aborted take off - overran and a/c written off - no injuries fortunately.

This does appear to be a different event!!!

Edit - It is a different airframe XY-AIA as AIE was written off last month.

ugh.. now that's gonna hurt, fuselage snapped in two... good to know no life lost. :ouch:

Well, hope it is true that only one injury. As everyone knows that they never give a real report on any type of accident. ( including the report of how many monks been killed last year...) :suspect:
