Interesting times
The government's policy of holding down public sector pay increases below the level of inflation is creating disputes across the civil and public services.

So who will this include? Good on them I say. The government get away with too much sh*te!
Hope it doesn't affect me if i'm over the north sea tomorrow and want rescued tho. :hmm:

Don't worry, I don't think the fine chaps who fly the yellow helicopters or run the RCC will be on strike!

Their not involved but lets just hope the distress messages get to them!

And is this who you want running the whole of UK SAR in 2012??? ;)
It just goes to show how valued emergency services are by the govt - below minimum wage for the watchkeepers is disgraceful.

Nor the ones in the Blue and Yellow ones as they can't strike.But we can watch you wallowing about in the North Sea from a safe distance ........!

As for the strike an unfortunate necessity I believe.
