Something like that will never happen, the reason is the collective bargaining agreement the company and pilots signed states exactly that, anyone wishing to fly for AV has to enter at the bottom of the ranks and work his/her way up, as of right now we are hiring Fokker 50 F/Os, even if they allowed DECs i dont think it would happen since most if not all copilots flying the 767s now have the required hours to qualify for a left seat on the F50.
