Hi all,

Have an interview with Cityjet coming up soon and from reading through some of the previous posts on the interview process, it seems that the sim check on the 737-200 is the failing point for many of the applicants. A session or two is required before the check.

Having completed my MCC on the 737-400 at OAT, is there much difference in the hadling of the 300 v's 200. As OAT is nearer than Dublin is it worth getting in some handling practice there ?

Thanks for any advice :ok:

Thanks N.T.

Just had a quick look at the website just now but they dont seem to have a 737-200 on the list of sims

Simulators
BOEING 747-200 COMBI
L1011 - 500
L1011 - 200
SIKORSKY S61N
B727-276
BAC 1-11 (510)

This will work for me if they have the 737-200

Thanks for your input

The website needs updating, the tristar L1011 is no more, died of a fire, so the 737 200 is being used for MCC and sim preps...

Cant help on the RJ tho..

Best of luck:ok:

The advantage of doing it in Dublin will be that Simtech can provide an instructor that will put you through the profile you are likely to get for the Cityjet sim. Plus they might give you additional pointers for the day.

Thanks P.K.B

The goalpoasts have moved slightly.

The current info I have from another candidate is that he is booked in for his sim check with cityjet on friday and that's on a RJ85/100 sim at dublin airport.

A quick look on the simtech website now shows that they use the 737-200 only and a further google search does not bring up any info on any RJ85/100 sim listed, even in the UK.

Any info on companies with RJ85/100 sim appreciated. :ok::ok:

Hej Guys,

I have the sim assesment coming up soon with Cityjet as well.
Would you mind sharing your pms on the RJ85/100 sim...?
Are all the assesments done on this sim? is it worth practicing on the 737-200 they have in Dub?

Thx for your help and good luck for tomorrow.

Tom,

re "I just sent an answer via pprune. Did you get it? Not sure it worked."

No, I didn't receive anything. Try again:)

Don't quote me on this but I think the RJ sim belongs to Cityjet or at least is used exclusively by them and is possibly maintained by simtech. They are all in the same building at Dublin airport anyway.
