Anyone have any idea about these people? They placed a recruitment ad in Flight the week before last. Office address is somewhere in the South of England; near Old Sarum?

Great, well that is the sales pitch - presumably from their web site, but does anyone have some more specifics; i.e. pay and conditions? I think Unity Security were contractors in Iraq?

I spoke to them last month as they are also after engineers,

seems that it is the Unity from the website, they are in partnership with a UK company who actualy run the operations. The aircraft are not standard in that there are add-ons for protection.

I wasn't after a pilot job but I think they needed Brits, Auz or similar and it was month on month off or maybe 5 weeks on 3 off can't remember.

pay was over £70k if you work 7 months I think. But can't be sure

pm me for more info and I'll send you a contact name in the UK. (I think they live near Lyneham - funny old thing!)

They have a helicopter Op elsewhere in Africa which is my interest but a King Air seems much more civilised way to go around, it has a bar and fridge!

I think you'll find there's a queue

:hmm:

There is probably a queue of bods who say will go there, send in cv's or large it up in mess bars / crew rooms around the world and when it comes down to the critical point of "will you go" they have an excuse.

I was told to expect to live in a tent or maybe a trailer if lucky, food by DFAC and similar conditions to Military personnel.

One of the repeat questions I was asked is does the wife know? ! Seems there is no shortage of applicants who do not have domestic controller's approval.

They still need another couple of engineers, pilots I don't know about
