Would someone be kind enough to tell me if PHC is up and running. Last I heard it was still closed to International Traffic. Being asked for a B747F-200 cargo charter into PHC but unsure.

I was there a few weeks ago, customs available but were not there on arrival and had to wait. VOR DME servicable, no approach lights or runway lights: DAYLIGHT OPS ONLY. Vis is usually poor this time of year :ok:

yes its open for smaller a/c like B727/B737 and alike but not for the bigger jets as the work has not yet been completed on all the parts of the airport, unfort due to the nigerian way of working it shud be soon...

Don't think you could / would want to try with equipment much bigger than a larger T/P, so if the cargo is a consol of smaller bits and pieces, than maybe much better first into LOS and then ferry down to PHC in small doses....
