I need TR for 737NG FAA or JAA approved.Most important is price.

If price is the riding factor forget JAA , FAA TR's are about half the price of a JAA. Check simufite

Yes the FAA is cheaper but will less hours on the simu and of course no take off and landings required, if you plan to work in Europe think twice before doing a FAA TR.

As I understand it only the captain requires a type rating under the FAA system, If you area new first officer you are unlikly to be able to reach the standard required to get the FAA type rating in the 737NG.

Under EASA both crew have to be type rated and a right seat type rating should be within your grasp.
