Hi all,
I've got my phase 4 sim test at CTC wings coming up soon. Anybody got any helpful tips on what I can do to prepare or what I should expect?

I've never been in a simulator before so not sure what expect.

Cheers.

A friend of mine got accepted onto the CTC Wings scheme last year, and from what he has told me the sim test isn't as daunting as it sounds. He said all he did was a simple flight involving climbs and descents, a few turns here and there and then an attempt at landing. I think the main emphasis was on your ability to take in information and apply what you'd been told in the brief. Also, they might ask you some questions while you're doing all that (such as simple maths questions, or maybe about your family) to see if you can multi-task etc.

Other people may have had a different experience, this is just what I've been told. Congratulations of getting this far though, I'm still got a month to wait before my Stage 2!

There is a load of information already on PPrune about the CTC selection process, just use the search function...
