I was surprised that no mention has yet been made of the (partial) evacuation of a NS oil rig due to a bomb threat which has now been determined to be a hoax - or have I missed the thread somewhere?:confused:

Sounds like a massive evac effort was started by the RAF and Coast Guard (or whatever the correct nomenclature should be, please excuse my lack of familiarity with your service branches over there) then called off. Had to be quite an effort while it was going on. This bit -
A spokeswoman added: "The evacuation has ceased and it's now up to the operators to return staff to the installation.":ooh:
- probably means a huge SNAFU is now underway to restore everybody to their proper places. So any inside story on this? Anyone? Buehler???
