As a member of Etihad Guest, by clocking up only about 30,000 odd airmiles this year (Oz -UK X 1.5) I have already become a Silver member - which gives one the use of Etihads business class lounges on an economy ticket (yet to test this though) and an increase to 30kg of baggage . This alone will keep me loyal. One more return to Blighty from Oz in Feb - 50,000 + and its a Gold card. Doesnt give you much more except no queueing so first on, which for a 14 hour plus flight wil be the last thing I will want!

Any other schemes out there that give you such tangible benefits with so few trips?
