While there are several air ambulance services in Africa, nobody talks about them on Pprune!

Any comments?

The insurance industry knows where to find them when required!

Medair based in Lanseria, covers all of Africa. By all accounts a very good and well equipped operator. Operate a HS 125 700, Citation and Be20. All designated ambulance aircraft, not duel purpose.

Despite other negative news, the Medical Air Rescue Services ( MARS),based in Harare operates a dedicated, fully fitted BAe JS31. This not only serves within the country, but has done many missions to other Central African states.
Most flights move the patients to Lanseria Airport [ near Johannesburg], which is within easy reach of many specialist facilities.

Strange that you answer your own question with what looks like an advert for MARS.
Anyway, one more to add to your list, AMREF, based in Nairobi, has been The Air Ambulance / Flying Doctor Service in the East Africa region for years (more than 50!) and is very well respected. They do much much more humanitarian work than 'just' air ambulance, are a NGO, (so non Profit making) and do lots of international repatriations, as far afield as europe.
They have a website you can google.

Can vouch for both MARS and AMREF. Flew for MARS with BE20 and was medi-vaced out of DRC with helicopter and IL 76 by AMREF
Found medical teams in both operations to be very dedicated, professional and capable.
