Entry requirements

Hi All

Can anyone tell me if there is any entry requirements (eg GCSE's A levels)
you need before you can enroll on to cpl(h) or atpl exam course's?
All i can seem to find is the student must have sufficient knowledge of maths and physics, do they just take your word for it or is there a minimum requirement?

If you're embarking on modular training with a PPL(H), then there are no entrance requirements as such just, as you say, a sufficient knowledge of maths and physics.

If you have already undertaken PPL ground exams, you should have a rough idea of the level that is required.

Some integrated schools may have their own requirements however.

If you find you're having difficulty with some of the concepts and you're undertaking distance learning, you may have to put yourself on a brush-up course.

You need an ICAO PPL before starting a CPL/ATPL Groudschool course.

Only on the modular route; if the original poster wants to pay for an integrated ab initio course then there are no entry requirements except those which may be required by the individual school.

Yes, £70k will make you an entry level pro pilot (on paper anyway) but budget for another £30k+ to become salaried. If only it was that easy.

Find yourself a few magic beans....throw them out of the window and hope they grow into a feckin great big sunflower which you can climb to claim your golden egg laying chuck...because from my expeience its all about the dosh you dont have!!
