Vietnam Airlines pay increase?

Rishworth is advertising new rates for Vietnam Airlines A320 CA and FO.

How much did it increase?

Or is it still about $10,600 and $7,800?

no one knows what the increase will be, on the 777 some contracts are up for renewal by end of march, new contract will give them a pay increase of 4%, which is a joke at all. not to mention increased housing costs and quite high inflation in vietnam, about 12% last year.

Increase will not be the same across the fleets, A320 in the 20% range.

I've applied for the DEC position but nothing heard back.Been about 5weeks or so now.Currently 330 skipper at Qantas.From what I hear the increase in salary was 11%?

was 20% for 320 drivers recently. nothing else heard since that one. 4 % offered for the boeing boys. No expats on the 330 apart from the 3 tre's. fleet change now being offered to the atr guys.

VN big bosses told that they have signed a contract for the 777 boys with 10% pay increase, rishworth is telling they have got only 4% offerred.

rishworth by this time was telling they are still negotiating, not mentioning, that they have already signed up the new contract. it is pretty good to get 10% and pass on 4% to the pilots, good for rishworth, but not for the pilots.

20% last year. Another pay rise being rumoured. 5 and 3 or 4 and 4 pattern on offer now as well. 17/33% pay cut for either option.

So how much for a captian in VN now - do they habe any pinoy pilots or just european? what are the requirements?

QF Captain.

You would have to be looney to even consider leaving QF for VN.
You may get tax free $$$ but zero super( the QF super plan is the best thing about QF).You will never find anything like that anywhere.
However,if you are after a change,VN will be the place because anything you see there will be completely different to anything ( an everything)that you have ever seen in QF.

Only reason I could see to consider contracting is if you are about to get the flick from QF or are about to do a stint in the pen.

10.6 and 7.8 respectively, the rumoured pay rise has not happened yet.
