Talk to Glenmore Lodge near cairngorm. They may be able to sort out somewhere for you that won't get in the way of the Sea Kings, failing that just call any of the resort operating companies and ask them. I know that Helicopters (albeit the working kind) are frequent visitors to the lower car park at Aonach Mor (Nevis Range - Fort William).

Snow's not bad at Cairngorm - not up to european standards but good for UK.

Enjoy.

Ive landed both at Glen Coe and Fort William.

Glen Coe has a bigger landing area and better approach / departure routes.

The landing spot is on the north west end of the car park and there are some wooden pole power lines in the surrounding fields, if you want to stay over night the kings house hotel is on the other side of the road.

You would of course need permission to land from the ski centre.

Be aware it can get quite windy up there

...and IMCish.
Have been up at Glenshee 6 days in the last 10 (slack roster :ok:)...on only one of those was the weather suitable. It was mostly hill fog, snowing and windy. Good snowboarding though.

Bob Pooley has/had an HLS near Forter Castle, it was in the Pooley's (!) Guide as "Blairgowrie" - would need to arrange wheels though for the last part of the trip, and it's a bit out of the way for taxis, hire cars, but it is quite close, and down the vallay a bit so the weather might be better.

The Dalmunzie hotel is up the road that leads off to the left at the Spittal of Glenshee. There is plenty of room up there as they have a golf course on site and it is much more convenient for the ski centre than Bob Pooleys site which is up a rough track at the top of Glenisla and quite a few miles away by road. Also much more secure there to leave the aircraft. I am sure there would be no problem if you wanted to stay there as well - their web site says helicopters can land on their front lawn. Nice place too.

The clue is in the name, it's for parking cars.
