It seems that Phuket Air is trying to get it's act together finally. They have changed a lot of management and have finally got rid of their chief pilot. He has been replaced by a very experienced english captain who wants to make it a proper, professional operation. Hope he succeeds.

This is a very scary orgnization who does not belive in safety, maintenance, etc etc. I do not belive another high paid brit (who is a pilot) will fix this///////////

From what i have seen over the last week, they certainly do intend to change their ways.... But it looks like lots of present crews will depart only to be replaced by ex-Ocean Air drivers... Nothing like "keeping it in the family".. :(
