PPL written exams Ireland

Hi everybody,

I am looking at sitting the 7 JAA ppl exams in Northern Ireland before I go to America to do the PPL, any info where I can do them? Thanks

You can sit the exams at the Ulster Flying Club in Newtownards, but not exactly sure how chuffed they'd be if you wanted only to do the exams with no intention of flying with them... Give them a buzz : 028 91813327. Very nice flying club may I add.

For what it's worth, make sure you thoroughly research the school you're going to in America, I'm at Ulster F.C. now finishing a PPL after 6 long, unproductive weeks at European Flight Training in Florida.
