View Full Version : Bad week for Precision TZ

Yesterday, a Precision ATR42 took off from HTTB and then found they couldn't raise their landing gear. They returned, shunted all the pax off, and tried it again with the same result, so they left everyone there and buggered off to Dar empty.

Last week, they apparently developed a pressure leak on a Dar-Kigoma flight, people were feeling woozy and having trouble breathing.

Today, the Kigoma flight never showed- assume they're still down a plane.

Anybody have any further info?

Is Precision having a spate of bad luck, or is this normal for them? After reading the 'Poor Airmanship' thread on Precision, it leads one to wonder.

ola everyone,

perhaps they are phasing out the atr42 in the same fashion they did the let410? anyways thanks for giving us the info as u might know they are experts at covering up their goof ups and it never get to the media...as opposed to the national flag carrier,we cant even take a piss without the media being on our back...
