Hi,

Does anyone know roughly how much AVGAS is in the above countries? I'm trying to put some budget figures on a trip. Any info much appreciated!

Thanks

Chile, way expensive my friend, around $900 Chilean Pesos thats 1.2 Euro, or 1.8 dollars a Lt, expect higher prices if you go away from main aiports my flying club is asking for $920 a Lt for members, and $980 for common public, JP1 its near $515 that would be a little more than a dollar for liter.

N9412B Chile is a great country with honest Cops and kind law abiding citizens who must be the only folks on earth that drive under the speed limit. Beware there is a dark side to Chilenos they regard all gringos as fair game for a scam when it comes to selling you anything. This is sometimes embarassing and can cause resentment, dont let it get to you. Enjoy the most beautiful country on earth...........by far.

Hey, I'm off to South America in a couple of months - Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Guyana and would appreciate any input on avgas prices, good airports of entry and the like. I'm flying a C-340A, so gas is going to be a BIG expense.

I plan to fly to Brasil by way of the West coast in a Turbo Bonanza. I too would like to find out about Avgas locations availability and costs.
