Hi ,
I've been visiting ppjn.com looking for the info I asked but I'm not so sure the website is up to date.
What airlines are currently selecting pilots (F/O) ?
Is there still somebody which bonds you instead of asking the usual lot of money for the TR?
Thank you

hh_1015,good to hear about lufthansa cityline! But they still require very good knowledge of the german language which I don't know at all, except a few words :-(..., do you know of any pilot assessed in english only?
Reva, could you explain me how Aviators Trading works? It's the first time I hear of it.
Thank you very much.

By the way, if I can add some more info, Luxair is currently hiring and doesn't ask you to pay for the type rating as well.

well, I have heard that Aviators Trading have started service again under new management and with more to offer for Pilots. A friend that used their service was able to get a contract with as less as 350 hours TT

Any idea what the fee is thats mentioned in the T&C' page or what the TR cost your friend?

Cheers

Phil

yeah, I have been in Bremen and in Frankfurt...
Without them I would still be looking for a Job... when I got to the office of Aviators Trading ARC in Bremen i thought...oh no... what have I done... but when you get in there...wow...nice office and great staff.

I got my job and can build hours. Everything ok with them... :ok::ok::ok:

And they are not so costly like some other guys taking far more for providing a job.
Still need my medic and new validation.
Yeah, I had to sign something too. Sorry guys, but no contract details :oh:... I simply dont want to risk my first contract... ;)

cheers

hahahaha...lol....very nice:-D

I was thinking the same, when I got to the office in Bremen.
I heard that there are other that take up to € 15k???!!!!:ugh:

Why??? Seems we made a good choice with Aviators Trading ARC, which was by far cheaper.:D:ok:

I am thinking of opening a thread here with Aviators Trading ARC...what do you think? I have found some people here that are interested and some like us who have done everything :8
i love the smileys...lol...

@ Reva: yes that is true. you get the employment contract and if it shall become applicable you need to do the type rating. I am currently looking for the cheapest way for ATR 42 TR...any idea????

bye

i think its a great Idea.
You have a better exchange in a specific community, which has used the service or for other that need help when they have low hours.

Why didnīt you ask Aviators Trading ARC for the TR on ATR 42??
They have special rates with some of the TRTOs.

I got my TR from them, with 15 % less than what was payed usualy.
Yeah, I know there is a copany in germany called Cockpit4u...
Stay away from those guys when it comes to TR or other offers...
It seems they take more than 15k and there will be no employment after that. But they were able to set up a good image due to loads of Pilots paying for service with them...now many are still searching for jobs as before.

But we will talk in the community, ... cheers

does aviators trading also deal with faa pilots?

as far as I know, they do.

Currently it might be a bit stressfull, coz you will have to pay for the travel to the interview and screening yourself.
But I asked them just recently, if there is a solution for US pilots as well, coz my brother is on FAA...
The lady on the phone told me that they are planing on opening a branch by end of 2008 in the Staates.

But yeah, they do handle with FAA as well;)

VLM is also still hiring and my guess is they will continue to do so for a while due to a pretty bad pilot shortage over here

you are using their service aswell??? wow, seems the community is getting big this year. I was with the assessment center. but did you get any NDA??? Actually there is no information to go out ... but maybe ... ah, does pprune actally give out any information about ip numbers or emails????

I can tell you, you have to get prepaired very very well....the test is more difficult than Airberlin for example.

If it is still the same, you have maths, physics, english, multi tasks, visual, logic and psychology.

Sorry, But there is not more I can say.....but they are really good. The advise you, if the job is the best solution for you or not. I had one guy haveing the personal interview before I entered the office. can you imagine, he came out and said, "i will use their service, but I will not accept the Job they have....they advised me to wait and they will find something better...."

I mean, most companies are simply looking for money. Which company sends you away and rejects your money...????????

Nice to see, that there still are such companies.
Well....hope I could help.... best of luck:ok:;)

yeah, I saw some to that were told to wait for something different. And other were excluded from their service, after the assessment center. They have a very high standard....

Even if Aviators Trading ARC does a great job, we are not allowed to mention the service???!!!
Oh, I didnīt know!!....but why, it would be for the best of them....

But all i can say....and then I got to get ready for TR...:ok::ok::ok::ok::ok::ok:

becky, didnīt you get the newsletter?????
They explained why NDA has to be introduced and why no mentioning of them.
Got the papers for my next job....so I will be off pretty soon. Will be checking for all documents I need. See you next time maybe.

The second job they got for me within 2 years. :ok:

take care
