Is the RAF Reserve Hercules Unit at Lyneham only open to ex-regulars?

The RAF careers website doesn't make it clear (unless I've missed something).

Any info would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

The aircrew slots will only be for ex-regular bods.

Just spotted the address block on the RAF Reserves website (http://www.rafreserves.com/the_units/UnitDetails.aspx?unit=97). I guess that spelling isn't one of their recruiting requirements!

I seem to remember some time ago that Reserve Units were proposed, retired personnel applied, and found one of the conditions required was that they had to be available for TACEVALs (as was) etc. The scheme fell over due to lack of people applying.
