Ladies and Gents

For those of you with younger children, I thought I might just remind you of this site:

I must not even count as a child (at 39), as today I could not even solve the Santa puzzle, in the toy store. Shame on me. This was despite my best effort for over 30 minutes.

Two points spring to mind here: It's surprising how much excess tiredness can affect you mentally, and second, I am now quite late to start my Christmas shopping today.
Happy Christmas to all PPRuNer's, and all British service men and women wherever you may find yourselves all over the world. Keep yourselves safe folks.

I've just shown my niece the photo..........

She’s a bit upset, but at least I can get a refund on all the presents I’ve bought her….

Showed the kids this earlier on tonight.

They were amazed that Santa could be tracked by radar, (aah, the innocence of youth!).

They emailed NORAD telling them how 'cool' they thought the site was and just got a reply back.

I'm amazed the guys out there even have time to mail the kids a message.

Brilliant!

Isn't it good to know there are still people out there prepared to help preserve the magic for children. :ok:

For those who haven't seen it, there is another radar (http://news.bbc.co.uk/player/nol/newsid_7150000/newsid_7152000/7152059.stm?bw=bb&mp=wm&news=1&nol_storyid=7152059&bbcws=1#) keeping an eye out for Santa...
Have a great Christmas, wherever you are and whatever you're doing, and I hope the New Year brings every success.

My lad actually called the USA number a couple of years back and spoke to one of the controllers. Eyes like saucers when she started talking him through how they tracked him and what he wanted for Christmas...

Much street cred for Santa.
