Hi Forum Members,

Looking for your help please.

I am interested in obtaining an AOC for a commercial op. in Australia and have attempted to gather as much information as I can to make some informed decisions. I have ventured into the depths of CASA website as well as talked to people in the 'know'. I must say, it has been a struggle to get a straight answer for many reasons I guess.

The main things I wish to discover are:

1. How much does it really cost to obtain an AOC initially and the ongoing CASA license costs year on year?
2. What are the manning and compliance requirements to maintain the AOC on a yearly basis?

Thanks in advance if you have the time to PM any information which could make my 'discoveries' a little easier to get through!

Keep digging as there is a guide to obtain in an AOC and the work and manning levels required. Simple one aircraft AOC eg B206 or MD500 about $2000.00. Goes up from there depending on the quality of the documentation/ manuals presented.
What do you want to operate ?????
