A young prisoner who tried to commit suicide has won £575,000 in public money as compensation – after warders saved his life.

Top job, nice to see that for once it didn't occur under a load of power lines. Interesting that the flotation device in use seems to rely on a hand grip rather than webbing or rope loops to lessen the risk of cold weak fingers.
