As I say, this is only a fraction of what I took. If anyone would like to see more I'm more than happy to share them here, or, failing that the complete sets can be found on my website www.karladrage.co.uk (http://www.karladrage.co.uk)

Hope you like.
Cheers,
Karl

Excellent stuff Karl, many thanks. I presume the Cat on the grass was landing and not just taxiing? How often did the Jags land off runway/paved? (intentionally!).

Edited to add - who did the paint jobs, especially the 'Spotty Jet'? Someone is sh1t hot with a spray gun!:ok:

Brilliant shots, Karl, which brought back some happy memories of Shiny 6 at Coltishall when Jerry Connolly was the boss.

Lovely stuff, Karl.

Sad to see, though.

The Spotty Jag (XX119) and the desert Jag (XX725) were painted by the Coningsby paint section with the help of painters from Jag Cars in the case of XX119.

XX725 was orignially "Johny Fartpants" in GW1 and was painted on the idea from above the Stn Level. The nose art was however designed by an ex SNCO from the Jag world, famous for his T-shirt designs and based on the Canopener.

Both designs were officially authorized.:ok:

On the grass shots, "taxy only" I afraid...

Thanks Karl for posting your work. OC6's book is a cracker..:D

Thanks for the feedback all. I'm glad you liked them. It was a quarter of the year that I'm unlikely to forget for a while. None of it would've been possible without the fantastic support of the boss.

Al - Glad to see you're still around mate. Hope life in pastures new is treating you well.

Delighted you approve of the book too. :ok:

Some great shots there, Karl. Always a sad day when a type and a unit fly off into the sunset.
