View Full Version : Drill me!!
draccent 27th November 2007, 06:05 Ok so my FAA knowledge test is coming up in a couple weeks. I would be most grateful if some of the more experienced folks on this forum would ask random questions. Particularly if you are an FAA certified examiner. Please make it hard, and if I get it wrong offer me an explanation. Also what kind of time limit does the FAA test give me? How many questions? I have been taking practice tests and my best score has been 77 percent out of 100 questions.
Thank you all so much!

Sam Rutherford 27th November 2007, 16:31 Hi, I can find no references to 'unlaided swallow' - I think it best I stay on the ground for the moment until this is resolved...
BackPacker 27th November 2007, 16:34 It's in one of the Monty Python movies. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think The Meaning of Life.
Edited to say that it's from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Around the 1:20 mark to be exact.
With apologies to all Monty Python lovers out there.

SNS3Guppy 27th November 2007, 17:07 With the FAA publishing the question banks and test books and software to study the specific questions and answers, there's little excuse for not passing with flying colors. In fact, it's nearly impossible.
IO540 27th November 2007, 17:33 Same with the JAA - the ATPL question banks are out too ;)

greenslopes 27th November 2007, 21:03 Q)
How much wood would a wood chuck chuck,if a wood chuck would chuck wood?
julian_storey 27th November 2007, 22:37 I think this chap wanted a sensible response :=
Go to www.checkride.com and download some excellent software. To unlock the full question bank costs about $20.
Sit and go through the questions memorising the answers like a parrot.
Don't sit the test until you start getting 90% EVERY time. If you do this, failure is a virtual impossibility.
Good luck - although you don't actually need it :D
