Disappearing threads

Anyone else seen the report on the news about a spate of threads strangely disappearing once again off a well know aviation web site? :}

Well, there are few reasons why they disappear as you put it.

1. They are merged with another on the same subject.

2. They are of a multiple thread type - they get the heave ho!

3. They have been seen a hundred times before.

4. And we don't always have the time to explain.

I agree with all that you say.

However, my thread was nothing to do with the Red Arrows it was a legitimate question about Hawks landing at RAF St Athan for refuels.

As a result, apart from banter, my question has gone un-answered.

You never know, maybe nobody has thought of the implications of St Athan losing this facility.:ugh:
