Does Cabair have a graduating ceremony/dinner like other schools to mark the acheivment of the CPL or are we thrown out to the fishes once we've finished and completely ignored?:confused:

which other schools celebrate acheivement?

I think you will find that companies will celebrate on the money they make.

A quick nip down to Mc'D's

Has the advantage you can pick up an application form at the same time.

Only joking.

In the grand scope of things the high you are on after passing CPL/IR is very short lived. If you are lucky enough to be going off to a job it will last about 10 mins into the type rating course when they give out the tech manual and you think all that in two weeks ( A hint never look at the electrics section by yourself of any aircraft).

If not so lucky its until your first PFO comes through the door.

You do have to learn though that in aviation once a training school/employer can't make anymore money out of you, you might as well be dead. Don't get me wrong there will be individuals who will care and take pride in watching thier students/FO's careers progress. Most don't give a F as long as they get payed at the end of the month.

Alot of negative comment there....

Yes Cabair do have a graduation 'do'. Don't plan on driving home afterwards!
