Nice catch, Gareth. She looks great in that camo. One of the ex-Swiss '58s' I believe? Imagine that running through the Bwlch/Cad?

Excellent photos, GW. Brings back memories of Brawdy with all those Hunters in the circuit.

Stunning, truly stunning.
From whence we once had an Empire, an Aero Industry, and a stout band of men to fly them and maintain them !

Hi All,

Apologies for the dissapearing pics, I did not realise that this thread would prove so popular.............I host my pics with AOL and have just been informed that I have exceeded my Bandwidth for the day(never happened before) so the pics will reappear soon as if by magic when my Bandwidth is reinstated! Thanks for all the views and all the kind comments

Cheers Gareth

P.S Pity I cant post the sound as well because that would crash my Bandwidth a further time:)

Another good reason NOT to have anything to do with AoL!

Try hosting using photobucket.

Thanks for posting pics had previoously seen them on Valley Aviation Society site, well worth a look if you haven't seen it.

The aircraft pictured is ZZ190 formally G-HHAE and prior to that J4066. ZZ190and her sister ship ZZ191 (G-HHAD J4058) are leased to FRA whose pilots fly them under contract. They are still fully maintained and operated from an engineering perspective by HHA engineers. They have performed well with a 100% sortie success rate over the first contract year. The aircraft are very low FI and have very low flying hours, couple that with the excellent performance and agility of the big engined Hunter they have proved to be an ideal platform for trials work.

Had the pleasure of watching them operate into St Mawgan today. I hope they return soon - lovely sight and sound.

Hi all

This classic British aircraft can also be found flying out of Exeter in Devon. Hunter Flying Ltd have a number of twin seat Hunters as well as a few single seat aircraft. By far the best has to be XE601, which still retains its Boscombe Down markings.

If your interested in knowing more go to

Cheers

I think you'll find that as well as visiting Helicopters, there are several based there. Apparently a few jets use the place from time to time.

GWJPhantom - what format are your photos in? I can only get boxes with red crosses - very boring!
