The Spanish singer Melendi caused IB6401 (MAD-MEX) to return to MAD after 3 hours in the air. It looks like he had a great time refueling himself before attacking a FA when she denied him more drinks. The captain decided to go back as they had another 9 hours of flight ahead and the man wasn't in the mood of calming down. He is now under arrest.

Why? All he did was tell us what was reported in the el mundo newspaper.
No need to be abusive about it.

A wise decision by the skipper. Hope that they ban him from flying decent airlines again and send him an invoice for 6 hours flight plus incidentals.

BTW: Do airlines exchange rowdy passenger lists?

I had a nasty experience recently very early morning ( 6:00 am ) out of LED to FRA recently with some drunken Russians who thought that they could freely molest the female FA's. CSD stopped alcohol beverage service for whole cabin ( was for all pax not a real problem ), which triggered off some obscenities ( Luckily crew did not understand Russian). CSD went berserk when they refused to strap in during final and tried to stand up ( posed some problems ) and wanted to open overhead bins BEFORE touch down.

Needles to say that they got a real treatment in FRA and were escorted by some grim looking uniformed police. Remember FA telling me that they were connecting to JFK and LH refused to take them.
