The 3rd pic down is the only part of the PILAPT test I recognise from the test I took at CTC. One of the others looks to be one of the parts of the multitasking test but tbh i doubt it will help you. That link does not look very good at all.:=

You won't be able to find the exact PILAPT test you will be taking online but all of the key skills you will need for them can be practised by using other aptitude tests.

There is a great free one you can take online at http://www.apst.com/. Again, this is not the same as the PILAPT test but it does help you practise the skills you will need. I hope this helps! :)

Pilapt is by far the best testing battery. It is very difficult to practice for a test. The test is only an indication. Many other factors are considered before a decision is made re. potential. The best advice is not to worry about just do it with a clear mind, the worst thing you can do is try to second guess what is coming.

Good luck.:ok:

Hi Guys,

I'm considering getting the pilot aptitude test preparation by cockpitweb, the link can be seen here (Cockpitweb: pilot aptitude test,Pilot computer test software, numerapt, numerical reasoning, psychometric test, mathematics, job application, pilot recruitment,IFR Training Software, ATPL Pilot Training, Pilot Training flight simulator, aviation training (http://www.cockpitweb.com/?gclid=CJPj_I-xtLgCFXFe4godrTUAww)) . It is pretty expensive but I think it would be a worthwhile investment. I wanna know if this software is legit or if anyone out there currently has it and whether it has helped boost your scores during the interviews.

Cheers

definitely Skytest SkyTestŪ - Preparation Software for DLR Test (Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Swiss, Turkish Airlines, Royal Jordanian, SunExpress, DFS), Cargolux, FEAST (Eurocontrol), Austro Control, Skyguide (http://www.skytest.com) in terms of software, but for a more in-depth preparation Airline Prep www.airlineprep.co.uk/‎ !

thanks for the hint www.airlineprep (http://www.airlineprep).
I failed in couple of screenings (FlyDubai, Turkish airlines, Skymark) and itīs not only the problem of the aptitude test. A big focus is on the group games , role play and the interviews. There was a guy , who had taken a training at www.attc.com (http://www.attc.com) and he was quite relaxed. Donīt know, what happend to him, because I was out at the first group game.
But thatīs for sure, I will take a in-depth training and now I can compare both training organisations.

Hi jamwo,

group games and interviews belong to the so called soft skills, so if you need some help for this very personal aspects you will need professional support. But you also should take in account no psychologist will be able to install "matrix like" a complete new software in your brain. At the other hand in aviation you've got a wide range of possible profils which are accepted by the flight operations. Best thing is to be able to use your very personal tools (humor, charme, etc.) to aim your targets during an assessment or screening and for this individual case some professional help before performing the test might be helpful. But consider there are a lot of backstage professionals without any professional skills in the air.

Jamwo,

When I had my assessments at two UK flying schools, and given my relative lack of interview experience, I found it really useful to get some books from the local library on professional interview technique, as well as some on aptitude tests - both were a great help.

If you're looking for PILAPT preparation, as opposed to DLR preparation, which I believe is what SkyTest offer, there are a few that I know of, listed below:

Cockpitweb: pilot aptitude test,Pilot computer test software, numerapt, numerical reasoning, psychometric test, mathematics, job application, pilot recruitment,IFR Training Software, ATPL Pilot Training, Pilot Training flight simulator, aviation training (http://www.cockpitweb.com)

PAT | PilotAptitudeTest.com - Practise for COMPASS Tests and PILAPT Tests (http://www.pilotaptitudetest.com)

Pilot Aptitude Test Trainer (PATT) (http://www.fl350software.com)

Hope this helps, best of luck!
