I have someone very close to me out there in one of the sandpits right now in the Aeromed role. Cannot say who or where, but in the last 5 months this person has been back to the uk for 16 hours every week, they are one of 6 Aeromed crews that (apart from there other medcare duties)take the out of area flights in turn!!! That is as close to one Aeromed flight a day, with numbers ranging from..... well more than one and can be a lot. The British population have no idea, and as we approach rememberence Sunday we need a sustained effort of support for our guys and gals.

Trust me, those of us who are involved will always do whatever it takes.

A little more support from those a long way up the chain would help, but we'll get it done one way or another.
