There are about 2,067,240 germs on your keyboard right now!

That's equivalent to the number of germs on 413 toilet seats.

So, might they, given time, manage to type out the complete works of Shakespeare?

Considering the amount of food particles and boogers in mine, I can believe that.

There's more combined IQ in that lot than there are in most posters in this forum! And I bet there spelling is betta (OK, spelling jokes, but it will make them more comfortable seeing it like that).

As long as the little buggas don't type txt speak, they are welcome here.

Humph speak for yourself

Being of a sensible frame of mind I decided to kill some off by cleaning a keyboard with a well advertised germ destroyer (sensible in that I tried it on someone elses)

It's probably killed the germs - it's certainly killed the keyboard Tee hee:rolleyes:

WARNING DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME

Following discussions in the office they all want to try it now, bugga the keyboards & go home..........some merit to that:hmm:

Considering the amount of food particles and boogers in mine, I can believe that....something which looks particularly fetching on my standard Apple keyboard, with its transparent base. Eugh. I think Ill go and clean it now.

Well, I've only just finished counting and I've got 3,876,432, minus any that died during the count and plus any that divided into two (if germs do that).

So what am I doing wrong? Please advise. I've always been comfortable with <4,000,000 but now I feel rather dirty with so many more than you all.

You've ruined my morning.

Germs on a keyboard? I remember being told at flight school ages ago that you could catch around 200 diseases/conditions from using the typical flying club 'pool' headset, or was that a way to sell more headsets to students? (pardon my cynicism).

Blunt M8 that is so sad. Not only do you have prune in your picture, but you have THIS THREAD displayed quite clearly.

sad ... and yet I feel a grudging admiration at the symmetry of it :8

The zen of the attempted humor is complete. Symetry has been maintained! :}

That took seconds on end to compose, shoot and upload!

How many of the germs on the keyboard are bad for us compared to the toilet?

Well if I remember back from High School biology, these germs will reproduce asexually about every 4 to 8 hours.

So in 8 hours time, I should have 4,134,480 germs, then 8 hours later 8,268,960 then 8 hours after that 16,537,920...

So I guess in about a week or so, my computer might get a virus or something!!!

In a month, they will take over my entire house....

Must clean computer... Not clean enough... Must get every germ off keyboard.... house not clean enough.... Outside is too dirty... won't go outside, too many germs.... HELP!!!
