Yo.
Have an interview with bmi mainline coming up in a few weeks, anyone had one recently who is prepared to share their experiences. Not much to be found by searching - only some stuff from a few years ago.
Any help appreciated.

Hi, sorry I can't offer much help , but I didn't realise they were recruitting. Did you fill an online application?

Disregard - just been advised interview been cancelled due to a downturn in operational requirements.

oh this is worrying as I'm waiting on the result of my sim check!! Any ideas how this will effect those waiting?

No idea really. I got a brief email stating what I said above, nothing more. So it's anyones guess as to what they're upto?

They cant find any suitable A330s so expansion delayed. Lots of internal training to do over the winter following BMED integration.
Expect recruitment to recommence in the new year so more interviews will happen towards the end of the year.
Anyone who has passed the sim check can expect to be held in the pool.

Does anyone know when bmi are going to use us guys in the hold pool? Is it early/late 08 or 09?

Certainly looks that way, reason is the A330 issue. Earliest people will get taken on is latter part of next year. Also BMED integration taking place right now.
