Confessions by Israel - Why?? They have never done that before!
If Syria is provoked like this into retaliation it will provide Israel and the US with the perfect excuse to take Syria. I smell fish. Stay cool Assad or the ME will erupt (much bigger than that Volcano thingy near Yemen)

I bet Syria's air defence is a bit sharper than in '82 (hang on though...the Isrealis didn't lose a jet). Errr...

Doesn't the IAF have more victories in modern air combat than any modern air force, or am i mistaken? They seem to be a formidable flying force. As has been said i think if syria retaliate then it is a way in for the US but we'll have to watch and see

Although Israel didn't lose any aircraft in air-combat they did lose aircraft to Syrian SAMs/AAA during 82.

Syrian SAMs/AAA during 82. I believe it was a bit interesting in the Bekaa valley.
