Noticed this on another forum but thought some of the more well off readers of pprune might be interested in making a bid!
Avro Vulcan XL426 will be carrying out an Idle Engine run this Saturday morning and you could win the chance to sit in the right hand seat during the run with Martin Withers in the left hand!! Once in a lifetime offer? I think so! Martin of course has you all know will be one of the pilots on 558.
Get biding chaps, all money raised goes to XL426.
We also should be having Hugh Prior, the Black Buck One AEO sitting in the AEO seat (where else?) for the run as well.
A worthy cause although I'm sure a few ppruners have been there already and gone much further :}
