Folks,

Have to fly to LGW on Friday morning with BE on the 7am flight, complete with baggage.

Did the same flight last year, and just made it through security in time...

Any wisdom as to what time I need to be at the airport at to be sure? Ideally, I'll be there at 5am, but we did that last year, and it was still touch & go.

Also, is there much benefit checking in on-line? I'm happy to give this a go, but is there actually a shorter baggage drop queue?

Any advice would be welcome!

I tried it...turned up "checked" in...stood in a queue with just a briefcase for almost 35 minutes...2 security posts ...lines back to the checkin desks...people having to force their way to the front because of "last call" type announcements...absolutely dreadful.......:ugh:
