Is such a low pass and turn like that likely to ever be approved for a display here in Oz?

Think the Airbus driver was a retired AG pilot!:ooh:

Not bad but pussy is he, didn't have Utube then but Biggin Hill circa 1972? RAF Super VC10 wings on a short body pulling hard around behind the hangars with just the up wingtip showing and reappearing with I swear grass clippings blowing up from around the wingtip vortices. :} Ahhh..... I can still hears those RR Conways crackling away.

The 10 tracked behind hangars & started the turn in the valley. This is below r/w elevation, so line of sight from south of r/w looking left gives the impression of "where the feck has E gone" Seem to remember it's on the '72 vid of the show. We had a Comet there, and on leaving (Sun) did a low/fast flyby with a wingtip turn over Graham Baxter's commentary position. Maybe 10/101 Sqdn at Brize have a vid.
