You could try Conklin and deDecker (http://www.conklindd.com/)for this type of information although you would probably have to pay for it!

Staring at those numbers and seeing variable operating costs from Aircraft Cost Summary (http://www.conklindd.com/CDALibrary/ACCostSummary.aspx) got me wondering what keeps certain operators hanging on to their lamas?

According to conklindd Lama costs $1.200 per hour compared to $700 for a 350B3. Performance wise both are good at high altitudes/external payload.

I know there is a difference in spare parts and maintenance when it comes to EU/US but hell, almost twice the cost for lama per hour?

Phoenix,

Acquisition cost cost. Which leads to significantly lower Insurance and finance charges.
