Has anyone ever landed there? It currently looks out of use to me. Trees/tall plants have been planted about 100 feet from it - not good for tail clearance when they grow.

I have never heard anyone landing there (although we needn' be told as it just outside CAS)

Was it in this pic?

Can't help with any info on landing but here are a few images of the helipad for those that don't know where it is.

I handled an S76 there about 5ish years ago, the only slight issue I encountered was the footpath you can see on one of cptjim's pictures, nothing to stop people from the housing estate on the other side of the hedge wondering through and accross the path of a big noisy burning and turning aircraft which of course attracts plenty of attention, if the site hasn't changed I would recommend having a minimum of 2 people on the ground for 'crowd control'. Other then that because it was so long ago I can't help. Good luck
