Well, I now work down in the depths of EIDW, (not saying as what!). On my lunch break today I found myself sitting just outside an airside entrance (not a gate), munching through half a brown bread bacon butty sambo, when I suddenly stopped and wondered if I would be in Deep Sh*t for doing it. I went inside to finish my meal.

So am I right in saying bringing a sambo, wrapped in tin foil, and proceeding to eat it in a qiet corner of the outdoors ramp area would consist of a major no-no?

Any other good/bad ideas about ramp ettiquette?

I imagine it would be considered a definate no-no due to the risk of attracting birds

mobile phone call and lunch combo whilst doing a start up seems to work fine for me!

I often don't get a chance to take my lunch break but often take a sandwich with me onto the ramp although I'd eat it in the van.

Red Adaire, I have heard countless stories about him, never had the pleasure of encountering the guy but I prob wouldnt want to.
