Just out of curiousity, are there any operators that fly out of Lebanon?
We were talking today and this came up. I haven't heard of any myself.

They are not based out of there, but the Israeli Airforce does some work there.........:eek::eek:

Funny you should mention that ......
Last time I was there had to sort of leave in a bit of a hurry .... 4 minutes ahead of the IAF who were on their way for a visit .... seem to remember the date as being July 1982!!!!
And no we didn't wait for an air traffic clearance!

So I take it that no one operates out of Lebanon other than the LAF and occasionally the friendly Israelis?
How about Russia and some of its former states, such as Georgia, Armenia, Azerbijan, Estonia, etc.
Any work in these areas?

CHC is in Azerbaijan and just recently in Kazakhstan and possible plans for more CIS jobs.
I believe Bristow is in Kazakhstan too and also Sakhalin Island.
