Many members are now using Photobucket's hosting service, but some members occasionally have difficulty.
It's very easy.

(1) Photobucket

Go to your album and choose the picture you want to post.
Under the 'thumbnail' of that picture you'll see 3 boxes.
Left click on the 'IMG Code' box. This will automatically copy the image code for you. (A yellow "Copied" flag will pop up.)
Now go to Rotorheads.(2) Rotorheads

Begin a new post in the usual way.
You are now ready to paste the code you copied above.
Right click, and select "paste" from the drop-down menu.
The image code for the picture will appear.
Depending upon the editing mode selected, you'll see either your picture or a code.
Give some information about the photograph.
Repeat the process for any further pictures.
When you've finished copying your pictures, submit your post in the normal way.
Voila! We'll all be able to enjoy your pictures.
Tip: It's best to have two browser windows open at the same time, especially if posting more than one picture: One for Photobucket and one for Rotorheads.Note: Some free photo-hosting services offer only limited features so it's not possible to direct link in this way. eg Geocities, Tripod, Airlinersnet. (The picture may appear when you first post it, but then disappears within hours - sometimes replaced by an advertisement for their website.) Other methods, trouble shooting and photography tips: How to Post Pictures (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?t=145070)Copyright: In the Rotorheads forum, we do not allow pictures with copyright notices, email addresses, promotional material etc embedded or attached. More information about what is and isn't permitted >>> Copyright Notices in Rotorheads (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=133982)Finally: Pictures are more interesting if you add some information: eg Type, location, the job, when it was taken.

With regards to photobucket be aware , be very aware . You need to log onto photobucket with your user name and password . Be sure when you have finished that you log off propely and dont just turn your comp off or click on the x in the top right corner . A motorcycle forum guru recently found that if you goto photo bucket and put in a keyword search it will bring up a range of photographs or files with that keyword in the title . If the user hasnt loogged out , and there are many many who dont then you can browse their files till your hearts content . You can only imagine the types of pics that may be considered private that are now on websites throughout the world and the owner may be blissfully ignorant . Not saying anyone here would have such pictures , although we all probably have . Just be aware always log off photobucket when your done
