When you open the zip file what folders do you have inside?

You have to move the downloaded files into the fs files. Find the fs2004 folder and inside you find folders gauges and the like. Copy and paste the appropriate files to the appropriate folders.

Hi, the files are:

model

model.vc

panel

sound

texture

airlines.cfg

b757-200-rb211-535e4 (air file)

readme text doc

I have now copied these to the flight sim folder. Do they need to be copied into specific files. Sorry im not sure of the difference between folders and files. How worrying!

Might sound daft but what does the read me file say, it may tell you in there what to do!
A folder contains files, and looks like a folder that is kept in a filling cabinet http://www.spcug.org/reviews/blackart1001a.gif

A bit of a tutorial here (http://www.surclaro.com/help/Installing.php)

Try reading the "how to" here.

Buy www.leveldsim.com (http://www.leveldsim.com) instead. FAR FAR FAR more realistic, The only plane I have felt as realistic in terms of flight dynamics and Ive been flying Flightsim since 5.1 about 15 years ago :)

Hi again!

Thanks for all your advice, i do now seem to have a tcx 757 in my a/c list. It works fine other than the fact it sounds a bit like a massey ferguson not a jet, any ideas?

Also, why do non of the jet a/c have a "loc" option on the mcp?

stevehudd, the pics of the leveldsim look pretty hot. Is it very different dynamically to the "project open sky" model i have downloaded? I only run it on a laptop, do u think that will be powerful enough?

Thanks Again
