Happened at Melville Hall on Sat 11th at about 4.00pm. He ran off the end of 09 and ended up across the road. No speculation from me.

Heard frm local auth's complete brake failure. Fire guys learned pilots were STANDING on brakes to no avail. i think they r very lucky to b alive n we shud wish them well.

I was thinking more about the clouds dumping huge quantities of water on the runway... maybe aquaplaning.. sky looks pretty threatening in one or two pics... no doubt we'll learn more in good time.

Lots of work going on in TDPD - r/way extension into the sea by reclaiming land. If it was that wet, the a/c would have been covered in mud (make that red clay) splashes. Also, r/way looks dry.
Cloud cover fairly common for TDPD with the rain in the hills and not on the field.
Hope they got the wreck moved from the shoreline, as Hurricane Dean moving in and the swell/surge will move it quite a bit.
