Travelling to Aus via Singapore in Dec, with a 10yr old who has the boredom threshold of a gnat LOL

We have heard and one reason why we booked SA is that they have a pretty good amount of kids channels on board. Anyone know if this is correct. Will be taking nintendo DS, i pod etc, just wondering how well they cater for kids though

Buy him a book. Didn't have ipods and DSs and kids channels when I was a lad.

Yes, there's plenty of kids' channels and nintendo style games, even in cattle class.

The IFE system is excellent. The age of the aircraft dictates whether it is an on demand system or not.
If you go to SQ's home page you can even see what movies are being screened.

Singapore Airlines have lots of games, and you can also pause the movies, and start them whenever you like.
