In any field, when 'mass production' becomes the order of the day, Quality suffers. Indian aviation is no exception. Flying institutes that 'log' should be totally banned & their license revoked. And if these private airlines expect a fresh CPL holder to perform in a modern jet's cockpit coming in directly from a single piston engine Cessna, they have only themselves to blame. The least these airlines can do is make twin engine experience/endorsement mandatory!
Am sure that though it is not the only solution, it would certainly help make the transition as a co-pilot onto a modern jet aircraft easier and would also help in controlling the Captain's B.P.
